I, Elvis Riboldi

Elvis Riboldi is a good boy with a huge heart who always means well. He’s energetic, optimistic, passionate… he’s full of life! He reflects the joy of being a child… but taken to the extreme. He’s too energetic, too optimistic and too passionate, so things get way out of control. Thus, every time Elvis tries to face a problem, the problem tends to get… bigger.

The whole town of Icara suffers the consequences of living with Elvis. A place where, according to its inhabitants, nothing ever happened until Elvis was born. But now, all sort of things happen: time travels, karaoke, epic fights to death, vampires, musicals, close encounters of the third kind, TV quiz shows, and so on. With Elvis at your side, everything is possible! And messier! And funnier!

‘I Elvis Riboldi’ is based on the successful bookseries of same name written by Bono Bidari, a pseudonym which includes three writers with a long experience in children storytelling – Daniel Cerdà, Jaume Copons and Ramon Cabrera – as well as illustrator Òscar Julve. The books have been published in Spain (La Galera), France (Hachette), Italy (Alphatest), Czech Republic (Mladá Fronta), Poland, Turkey and Latin America.

Mironins

What would happen if a painting suddenly came to life? And what if we could go inside it and discover an incomparable imaginary world? Come to the Mironins' Museum and find it out! An adventure-filled journey into the amazing world of Art.

Mironins is an animated series featuring some little drops of paint who escape from Joan Miro's paintings to live frenetic - and slightly surreal - adventures in which their creativity will be put to the test. A madcap multicolored adventure full of humor and fantasy with which children will learn to develop their imagination. Guided by the Mironins, kids will travel literally to the interior of the world of Arts to discover its endless fascinating, expressive possibilities while having fun.

The TV series belongs to a bigger transmedia project, a multiplatform experience created to reinforce and motivate the learning of artistic concepts which will encourage children to re-experience the series. This project includes the new museum guides - based in AR technology using mironins as hosts -, an Art Lab with activities designed for museums, libraries and schools, an interactive game in APP format, as well as the the book "Mironins. A book for playing and learning with Joan Miró", already available in 5 languages.

The Somis

Isa is a very curious little girl who lives with her rock-and-roll dad, her stress-out mom, a brother who thinks he’s a superhero, a grandfather who’s an eccentric inventor, and a robot. All in all, they add up to an unusual, to say the least, urban working-class family – the Somis – confronted with personal conflicts, economic crises and social conventions. In their own outlandish way, they finally solve the problems successfully… or almost.

The series aims to address today’s society from a comical, entertaining and slightly irreverent perspective. Between laughs and absurdity, and always from the point of view Isi as a kid, the Somis face issues such as disability, old age, family relationships, poverty, solidarity, tolerance and environmental practices. And, along the way, they can’t help but learn some valuable life lessons.

Aesthetically, the series tries to achieve an attractive outcome using a world full of colors and textures, created out of paper, fabric, yarn and other odds and ends or recycled materials. The characters are animated ragdoll toys put together with clothes, buttons, tubes, cables, and stuffed with cotton.
